Here at Laurel Chase Farm we take the breeding of dogs very seriously.
Puppies can bring great joy to our lives & should be a pleasure to own. Temperament is of the utmost importance. All puppies are raised by happy well adjusted parents.
Our babies are born in a special whelping room right off our kitchen. This way they are home raised in an active social environed with lots of visitors. Our "doggy moms" can't wait to show off their kids. All breeding animals are health tested as recommended by breed.
Whippets are BAER tested to confirm thier hearing.
Eyes are CERFed annually to confirm the absence of observable inherted eye diseases.
Echocardiograms & exams are preformed by a cardiologist once every 2 years
We do our best to promote healty breeding practices.
Puppies have shots & wormings appropriate for their age & are vet checked twice before leaving for new homes.
A health certificate & records are provided. We guarantee our puppies to be healthy. New owners are required to meet with us & answer a barrage of question before becoming an approved home. We do require that all pets be spayed or neutered at the age of one year.
